Graptoveria Rubra

Graptoveria Rubra

Graptoveria is a hybrid genus crossing Graptopetalum and Echeveria, producing rosette-forming succulents that inherit the best qualities of both parents - the plump, geometric form of Echeveria with the hardiness and colour intensity of Graptopetalum. They are among the easier rosette succulents for Perth gardens and pots, tolerating more heat and neglect than pure Echeveria. Full sun to bright indirect light. Excellent drainage. Water thoroughly then allow to dry completely before watering again. Minimal fertiliser. Rubra produces rosettes in vivid red-pink tones that intensify significantly in full sun and cool weather - at peak colour it is one of the most vivid rosette succulents available. The colour shift through the seasons, brightening in winter and cooling slightly in summer heat, is part of its appeal.
