At full flower a mature Jacaranda is a genuinely spectacular sight: a large, spreading canopy covered almost entirely in tubular, lavender-blue flowers with almost no green visible. It grows to around 8-15m with a broad, spreading, semi-weeping canopy that provides generous summer shade after the flowering season. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
