Minneola is one of the most recognisable citrus varieties - the large, bright orange fruit with its distinctive knob at the stem end is unmistakeable in any bowl of fruit. It is a hybrid between a Dancy tangerine and a Duncan grapefruit: the result is fruit that is large, easy to peel, and bursting with tangy-sweet juice that is richer and more complex than either a standard mandarin or a standard orange.
